Welcome to The George Inn

Nestling beneath the rising fells of Langstrothdale, the inn stands in a stunning location overlooking the infant river Wharfe.

This traditional Dales Inn with flagged floors, stone walls and mullioned windows is the last remaining family owned freehouse in the parish of Buckden, Upper Wharfedale.

Comfortable accommodation, quality home cooked food, well kept cask beers from Black Sheep and Copper Dragon Breweries together with an excellent selection of wines and Malts are on offer in our unique inn.

The George is centrally located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is ideal for touring or walking.

Dinner 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Closed from 3pm to 6.30pm and all day Monday, except Bank Holidays. If you intend visiting out of season please ring for opening times.
