From Wednesday 6th December to Friday 22nd December 2023
Booking essential - available for groups of four to twenty two Wednesday Thursday and Friday lunchtimes arriving 12.00 for service from 12.30 and evenings arriving 18.00 for service from 18.30 (or as otherwise agreed.)
Why not start with a warming glass of Glühwein from our Christmas Grotto, before sitting down at your table, pulling your cracker, donning your party hat, and groaning at the jokes - then let the party start with fantastic festive food from Sarah our fabulous chef.

Starters
Soup of the Day served with a warm crusty mini tin loaf and farmhouse butter (V)
Homemade Smoked Mackerel Pate served with a toasted mini granary tin loaf and farmhouse butter
Camembert Bites, breadcrumb coated creamy Camembert served with cranberry sauce (V)
Classic Prawn Cocktail, served with crisp lettuce, homemade Marie Rose sauce and mini tin loaf
Beer Battered Mushrooms, served with a garlic aioli (V)
Festive Mains
Crispy Belly Pork, served on a bed of creamy mashed potato with seasonal vegetables and an apple and sultana jus.
Parcel Poached Pesto Salmon served on a bed of wilted greens topped with a perfectly poached egg
Traditional Slow Roasted Corn Fed Turkey Crown, sausage meat stuffing, pigs in blankets and roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a rich turkey gravy and cranberry sauce
Beer Braised Brisket of Beef, slow cooked and served with roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and a rich gravy
Broccoli Orange and Chestnut Loaf with a cranberry relish, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and vegetarian gravy (V)

Lemon Tart, lovely lemon filling in a pastry case served with vanilla ice cream or pouring cream
Mars Bar Chocolate Brownie served with vanilla ice cream
Sticky Toffee Pudding served with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream
Christmas Pudding, traditional boozy Christmas Pudding served with brandy sauce

CHRISTMAS DAY MONDAY 25th DECEMBER - WE ARE FULLY BOOKED FOR CHRISTMAS LUNCH ! (why not book now for 2024!)
This year sees the return of our fabulous Christmas Day lunch. A seven course extravaganza starting around 14.00 for our dining and resident guests at £75 per head. Book early to avoid disappointment with a £10 per head deposit.

NEW YEAR’S EVE SUNDAY 31ST DECEMBER 2023
Luxury Gala Buffet, from 19.00 served by our Head Chef, Sarah, and featuring a truly lovely selection of dishes.
Live music from 21.00 with Martin Francis and his acoustic guitar and his popular set of traditional, contemporary, and self-penned songs – a great way to welcome in the New Year!!

Throughout December, Sarah will be opening her fantastic Christmas Grotto from 15:00 to 17:00. Why not enjoy a warming glass of Glühwein, a yuummy bratwurst and festive ale, as well as Sarah’s lovely handmade jewellery and not forgetting her legendary Christmas Spiders!
