The George will be open 11am to 1pm on Christmas Day for drinks, diners only from 2pm.
Places are still available for our seven-course extravaganza on Christmas Day prepared by our Head Chef Sarah.
Christmas Day Menu – seven courses - £110 per head
A warm welcome awaits you with a glass of prosecco or mulled wine at 2.00pm accompanied by an assortment of canapes in our fire lit bar with your fellow guests
Starters
Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup served with a warm crusty mini tin loaf (V) (VG)
Prawn, Crayfish and Smoked Salmon Parcel with a dill, mustard and Marie Rose creamed cheese stuffing and garlic and tyme with multigrain toast
Baked Almond Rosemary and Garlic Camembert, served with homemade cheesy twists (V)
Chicken Liver Pate, with Cointreau and Cranberry Compote, served with lightly toasted mini tin loaf

Traditional Slow Roasted Corn Fed Turkey Crown, pan fried sprouts, crispy bacon lardons, with roast potatoes, winter creamed cabbage, honey roasted parsnips, proper bread sauce, Chantenay carrots, sausage meat stuffing, pigs in blankets and a rich turkey gravy
Brisket of Beef pan fried sprouts, crispy bacon lardons, with roast potatoes, winter creamed cabbage, honey roasted parsnips, Chantenay carrots, Yorkshire Puddings and a rich beef gravy
Parcel Baked Red Pesto Salmon, fillet of salmon, baked en papillotte with a red pesto dressing and served on a bed of sautéed seasonal vegetables
Broccoli Orange Fennel and Chestnut Loaf with a cranberry relish, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and vegetarian gravy (V)

A £40 deposit per person must be paid upon booking.
