Hi Folks - we have been delighted by the number of folks that have been to eat and drink with us following our reopening on 4th July.

With the further restrictions announced on 22 September it is now essential to book a table as we continue to follow guidelines regarding staying safe. We are operating table service only in our newly refurbished 'George Inn Side Out' dining area, and are asking for contact details which we retain for 21 days in line with the Government Track and Trace Policy.  (We are waiting for further information regarding the proposed QR codes and Track and Trace APP but have been advised that we can continue to record details manually).

SUNDAY September 27th - Traditional Sunday Roast served between 12.00 and 14.30 - Booking Essential!! This week's choice is Beer Braised Brisket of Beef, or Local Leg of Lamb roasted in hay, served with roast potatoes, a selection of vegetables, homemade Yorkshire Pudding and gravy. 

Every Monday Night is Pie Night celebrating our tally of 10 awards over the last 5 years at the prestigious British Pie Awards - including a Gold Award in 2019 for our Smoked Haddock and Mustard Pie and Three Silver awards in 2020 for our Beef and Blue, Venison and Chestnut and Rainbow Vegan Pies. We always have a choice of a minimum of 7 pies including vegetarian and pescatarian options. With 48 hours notice we can also offer gluten free pies.
