Our festive menu is prepared by our head chef Sarah Metcalfe and is available on selected nights throughout December.

Booking is strongly advised, pre-orders are required for groups of 6 or more

Starters

Soup of the Day served with a warm crusty mini tin loaf and farmhouse butter (V) £6.95

Brie Wedges, creamy brie, breadcrumb coated and served with cranberry sauce £9.95 (V)

Chicken Liver and Brandy Pate, served with warm fresh toasted ciabatta, farmhouse butter and Raydale Yorkshire preserve £9.95

Classic Prawn Cocktail, served with crisp lettuce, homemade Marie Rose sauce and farmhouse wholemeal bread and proper butter £10.95

Festive Mains

Venison, Chestnut and Stout pie, served with seasonal vegetables and a choice of potatoes accompanied by a rich stouty jus. £27.95

Baked Smoked Haddock, served on a bed of crushed new potatoes with a Thai green sauce and topped with a perfectly poached egg served with seasonal vegetables. £20.95

Half Crispy Duck, with a port and redberry jus served with potato and herb bon bons and seasonal vegetables. £28.95

Chicken stuffed with Weatherhead’s Yorkshire haggis, wrapped in parma ham served on a bed of creamy mash with a whiskey and leek cream sauce and seasonal vegetables. £22.95
